A delegation from State Grid Yingda Carbon Asset Management Company visited SUFE COB

General Manager Ge Wei from State Grid Yingda Carbon Asset Management Company led a delegation to visit our institution. Both parties engaged in discussions regarding collaboration in industry-university-research initiatives, the establishment of employment and practice bases, and research topics. COB Associate Dean Gao Weihuo and Sun Qi hosted the guests during the visit.

They provided overviews of the school's development and talent cultivation, expressing anticipation for collaboration with the company. The discussions revolved around deepening cooperation in areas such as student practices, research projects, case studies, and impactful research reports. The aim is to innovate and explore new initiatives that radiate societal influence, thereby enhancing the quality of talent development and furthering the depth and substance of school-enterprise cooperation.


General Manager Ge Wei introduced the basic profile, developmental history, core business, and future directions of State Grid Yingda Carbon Asset Management Company. He expressed the company's interest in actively engaging in research and exchanges with the College of Business, particularly in the fields of carbon markets and carbon asset management. The intention is to foster deep cooperation in talent development, employment internships, and practical experiences.


Currently, State Grid Yingda Carbon Asset Management Company has established an MBA practice base in collaboration with the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Both parties plan to leverage their respective strengths in talent, resources, technology, and influence. The collaboration aims to delve into areas closely related to their core businesses, including the cultivation of high-level applied business talents, the construction of collaborative bases for industry, academia, and research, and the application of management expertise. The expectation is for continued multi-level and comprehensive cooperation to contribute to the advancement of low-carbon, green, and high-quality development in China.
