On November 29, Prof. Wang Chongming, the Representative from AMBA, visited our school for pre-assessment. Prof. Sun Zheng, Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Dean of the College of Business (COB), Prof. Chen Qijie, head of the Graduate School, Prof. Dai Guoqiang, Associate Dean of the COB and Dr. Luo Yuding, Assistant Dean of COB, Prof. Sun Jingwei and Ms. Xue Liping, and directors of different departments of COB participated in the report discussions and the pre-assessment feedback meetings.
During the discussions, Vice President Sun Zheng warmly greeted Professor Wang Chongming on my behalf of our school, and Associate Dean Dr. Luo Yuding made the keynote speech. Professor Wang Chongming listened to the report carefully, and raised questions to be discussed among participants. Later, Professor Wang Chongming attended the closed-door discussion together with the MBA and EMBA students, teachers and alumni of MBA and EMBA.
In the pre-assessment feedback session, Professor Wang Chongming affirmed the certification report given by our school; at the same time, he also analyzed and reviewed the problems existing in the report, and then proposed corresponding suggestions on revision.
Professor Wang Chongming’s visit to our school for certification pre-assessment is an important step that our school has taken towards AMBA international certification. Based on the feedback results of the pre-assessment, we made adjustment and improvement on the relevant work of applying for the certification, making steady progresses towards the international certification.
