The "China Fiscal Transparency Report" is a continuous annual report project launched by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2009 to respond to the needs of China's administrative system reform and national governance modernization practice. It takes the pre-final budget information of 31 provinces of China as the survey object, focusing on the degree of information disclosure in the provinces, with the assessment and comparative analysis on the provincial information transparency. It releases a "China Fiscal Transparency Report" every year, and so far has provided objective and comprehensive revelation and evaluation of the status of China's fiscal information disclosure for 7 years in a row, which has directly promoted the information disclosure work process in China.
