2017 Shanghai Universities MBA Admission Work Exchange Held

On January 6, 2017, sponsored by the Students Admission Office, College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai Universities MBA Admission Work Exchange Meeting was held in SUFE Zhongshan North No. 1 Road Campus Boya Lecture Hall. MBA program directors and admission representative teachers from twelve universities and colleges, and a total of more than 40 people attended the exchange meeting.

Prof. Luo Yuding, Executive Dean of College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics delivered an opening speech. Prof. Luo first extended a warm welcome to all the guests from colleges and universities, and also said that the student recruitment work is the driving force and source of the development of MBA education in colleges and universities, which has the extremely important position. He hoped that this exchange meeting could act as a platform for the industry colleagues to exchange and share, so as to jointly promote the MBA education undertaking in Shanghai universities to a new level.

Then, directors of MBA programs and responsible officers of admissions from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Donghua University, Shanghai University, East China University of Science and Technology and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, delivered keynote speeches on the opportunities and challenges of the current MBA admissions work respectively.

The second half session of the exchange meeting was hosted by Feng Da, Brand Supervisor of Students Admissions Office, College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The topics on "How to tap the demand for registration for entrance examination", "How to deal with the threat from substitute programs", "How to innovate the means of student recruitment", "How to conduct proper online propaganda" and "How to expand overseas students" and so on were discussed freely, with very active atmosphere.

Shanghai Universities MBA Admission Work Exchange Meeting has been held for many years, which has provided an exchange and sharing platform to explore and improve the universities MBA program admissions work under the new situation. This exchange meeting has also brought a lot of good ideas and inspiration for the teachers of all the universities and colleges, and provided great support for the better implementation of Shanghai universities MBA admissions work in 2017 and enhancing the influence of regional MBA programs.
