COB and RSM Sign Joint Case Development and Training Agreement

 

The Agreement for Joint Case Development and Training between COB, SUFE and RSM, Erasmus University was signed on June 16th 2015. Signed by Professor Yuding Luo, executive dean of COB and Professor Steef van de Velde, dean of RSM, the agreement will initiate cooperation between the two schools in case development. The signing was witnessed by Ms. Liping Xue, associate dean of COB, Mr. Shaofei Wang, assistant dean of COB and Ms. Ying Zhang, vice dean of RSM.

 

Under the agreement, the two schools will join hands to develop teaching cases, such as cases on the topic of Shanghai Free Trade Zone (SFTZ), to apply multi-media technologies in case development and to hold workshops about case writing.

 

“Both located in world famous port cities and enjoy advantages in the core areas of logistics and financial services, the two schools will benefit from the cooperation and achieve a win-win situation,” said Professor Yuding Luo, Executive Dean of COB. Dean Steef van de Velde commented the cooperation as cross-cultural, cross-boundary and cross-school, and pointed out that RSM chose SUFE as its partner for this strategic cooperation because SUFE has a leading position in the finance and economics education in China.

 

This is an expansion of the cooperation relationship between the two schools. Before this, SUFE and RSM have had cooperation in many areas, such as double-degree program education and sharing of faculty. The two schools reached an agreement to run a double degree MBA program in August 2014 and signed an agreement to carry out student exchanges in December 2014.
