COB,SUFE conducts research visits to sister institutions fostering the high-quality development of academic disciplines

In recent days, Vice Dean Gao Weihe of COB,SUFE, conducted successive research visits to the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University along with a delegation.

Vice Dean Gao Weihe and the Case Center Director Wang Shaofei from the School of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, conducted a research visit to the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University along with Liu Yiru from the Office of Disciplinary Research. Assistant to the Dean of the Antai College of Economics and Management, Cai Fengyan, Director of the Office of Disciplinary Development and Research, Wu Shiming, and Director of the Think Tank Center, Liang Feng, participated in the exchange meeting.

Both parties engaged in profound exchanges regarding the development of first-class disciplines with high quality. They emphasized on the establishment of a diversified academic evaluation system, think tanks foundation, and social services.

Vice Dean Gao Weihe, Director Yang Jianping from the Online Education Center/Campus Development Office, and Liu Yiru from the Office of Disciplinary Research of the School of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, conducted a research visit to the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University. Vice Dean Cheng Mingwang, Director Xu Jie from the Office of Disciplinary Research, Director Li Qinghai from the Case Center, and Director Zhao Haiyan from the School's Office participated in the exchange meeting.


Both parties focused on multidisciplinary collaboration for effective development, strengthening research management and service functions. They prioritized promoting teaching and research collaborative innovation through case construction, and campus planning. They conveyed effective discussions and exchanges on these topics.

Vice Dean Gao Weihe expressed that this research visit provided an opportunity to deeply learn from the advanced experiences of sister institutions. In the future, they will comprehensively summarize the research outcomes, strive to learn from each other's strengths to promote  high-quality disciplines. This will lay a solid foundation for the construction of an outstanding business school with distinctive financial and economic characteristics.

During the research visit, all parties expressed that the meetings opened up new horizons for cooperation among universities and broadened their thinking. They hoped that this opportunity would lead to deeper cooperation in the future. They aim to continuously explore the path of high-quality business education under new circumstances, providing support for China's modernization endeavor.
