On the afternoon of April 14, College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (COB SUFE) held a cooperation and exchange meeting with Norwich Business School at the University of East Anglia (UEA), UK.
On behalf of COB, Associate Dean Sun Qi extended a warm welcome to the UK delegation. He delivered a systematic overview of the college’s development achievements and strategic plans in disciplinary development, internationalized schooling, industry-education integration and other key fields. He pointed out that the two institutions enjoy high compatibility and distinctive complementarity in business education, which has laid a solid groundwork for in-depth all-round cooperation.

Dean Amir M. Sharif elaborated on the academic strengths, international schooling features, research capacity and talent cultivation practices of the University of East Anglia and Norwich Business School. He voiced a strong intent to forge a long-term, stable, in-depth and diversified cooperative partnership with COB SUFE. He expressed the hope that both sides could build an all-round cooperation platform by drawing on their respective strengths, so as to realize resource sharing and mutually beneficial outcomes for all.
The meeting proceeded in a pragmatic and efficient manner. The two sides reached extensive consensus on all-round collaboration, scientific research innovation, talent cultivation and short-term exchange programs, consolidating the foundation for future in-depth cooperation. Both parties stated that they would take this exchange as a new starting point to jointly elevate the international development of business education at both institutions, and jointly nurture more high-caliber business talents with global competitiveness.
