Professor Ding Haoyuan of the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics won the third prize of the first China Science and Technology Youth Forum

Recently, the General Office of the China Association for Science and Technology announced the winners of the first China Science and Technology Youth Forum. Out of them, Ding Haoyuan, Professor of the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics won the third prize.


The China Science and Technology Youth Forum are hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology. This year it has been divided into four sub-forums on world scientific and technological frontiers, economic battlefields, major national needs, and people's life and health. In addition, the forum is segregated into the stages of collection of works, preliminary evaluation, thematic sub-forum, general forum, and the application of achievements. The forum grasped the attention of the majority of young scientists and technologists. Nearly 3000 young scientists and technologists from various fields across the country submitted their entries for the competition comprising the fields of electronic information, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental protection, biomedicine, modern agriculture, and so on.


Following several rounds of screening, more than 200 young science and technology talents, including Professor Ding Haoyuan, were awarded four sub-forum positions. Professor Ding Haoyuan offered an excellent presentation  on “how to turn the supply chain into a mutually beneficial chain in the post-epidemic era” in “economic battlefield” sub-forum.  The evaluation results show, Professor Ding Haoyuan won the admission ticket to the national general forum, and finally won the third prize.
