The Management School of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics visited SUFE COB

On the morning of April 10th, Zhu Liming, Chair of the School of Management Council at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, along with Associate Dean David, and Office Director Yang Wenchao, visited our college for research purposes. They were welcomed by Wei Hang, Chair of COB Council, along with Vice Chair of COB Council Gao Weihe and Director of the Administrative Department, Zhang Lili. This exchange aimed to strengthen cooperation and communication between the two business schools, and to jointly promote the development and innovation of business management disciplines.

At the symposium, Chair Wei Hang warmly welcomed Chair Zhu Liming and his delegation. He emphasized that Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, as sister schools, should deepen their exchanges. This would not only enhance the academic influence of both institutions in the field of finance and economics but also provide strong talent and intellectual support for the economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region and the whole country.

Chair Zhu Liming first introduced the basic situation and development achievements of the College of Management at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, expressing the hope that through this visit, they could learn from the advanced experience and practices of the College of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in discipline construction and college governance.

Subsequently, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the construction of first-class disciplines in business administration, application and construction of doctoral programs, faculty team building, and college governance. This exchange visit has built a solid platform for cooperation and communication between the two colleges of business, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration. The College of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics will continue to uphold an open and cooperative attitude, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with well-known business schools at home and abroad, continuously improve the level of disciplines and international influence, and make greater contributions to the development of business education in China.
