On 20^th July, 2011, the result of the first “Shanghai Financer” contest which was sponsored by Xinhua News Agency was announced. Shanghai Municipal Committee, vice mayor Tu Guangzhao; deputy secretary general of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Finance Bureau Secretary Jiang Zhuoqing; Shanghai Banking Bureau Secretary Liao Min and officials of governments and regulatory institutions participated in this event. Fang Xinghai, the director of Shanghai Financial Services Office, Sun Guodong, the Secretary of Party committee of Insurance Regulatory Commission and many other leaders issued prizes for awarded people of "the top ten financial industry leaders".

 

The alumni of our college, Shang Zhiming and Guan Dacang won the prizes of "the top ten financial industry leaders". Mr Shang Zhiming is widely considered as one of the most excellent representatives in China's fund industry. Mr Guan Dacang has managed the Bank of East Asia for many years. The journalist of our college made an interview by telephone with them, they pointed that they can not be so successful without the excellent educational environment provided by SUFE, and they wished that College of Business could make greater achievement in the future.
