ENOn August 19, the College of Business (COB) held a grand opening ceremony to welcome 2012 MBA students on the 369-campus. Professor Sun Zheng, Vice President of SUFE and Dean of COB, Professor Dai Guoqiang, Party Secretary and Deputy Dean of COB, Professor Luo Yuding, Deputy Dean of COB, and teacher representative, Professor Xu Shujun were presented at the ceremony.

At noon, the freshmen, in their navy school uniform, gathered at the Multi-function Hall of Wisdom Hotel, where the opening ceremony was held solemnly. Professor Dai Guoqiang delivered welcome speech, followed by the speech of Professor Xu Shujun. Then, 2012 freshmen representative Wei Shengyu and 2011 student representative Gu Dudu also made their speech respectively.

To reward and encourage the freshmen, freshmen scholarship was awarded at the opening ceremony. Professor Luo Yuding announced the winners of 2012 MBA scholarship and Professor Sun Zheng awarded the trophies to the six winners. This year, the first-prize winner will get full scholarship given by the College of Business.

After the ceremony, 2012 MBA students first got an overview of the MBA Program and learned some case analysis techniques, and then they attended the mobilization lecture on freshmen sand table simulation contest.
