On January 18th, 2013, SUFE received a three million yuan donation from the Luzhou Laojiao Group. The two sides also signed a strategic cooperation agreement. SUFE’s Vice President and Business College Dean Zheng Sun and the Party Secretary and General Manager of Luzhou Laojiao signed the agreement. SUFE IMBA alumnus Ms. Lixia Tong, Luzhou Laojiao Finance Manager Zhiping Ao, and staff from SUFE’s business school alumni association attended the signing ceremony.

When meeting with its leaders, like Luzhou Municipal Party Committee Secretary Guoqiang Liu (SUFE MBA, 1995), Vice President Sun heartily thanked the company for its generous donation. He also listened to a brief introduction of the company’s financial situation and its structure and then outlined SUFE’s educational philosophy of “Teaching and educating people, serving the society and serving the local city”.

In addition, he expressed his hope that the cooperation would improve SUFE’s business education.Leaders from Luzhou Laojiao expressed their desire to deepen cooperation with SUFE in cultivating high-end talent, creating post-doctoral workstations, developing case studies, and strengthening the financial services industry.
