On September 27, a delegation from the College of Business at Minnan Normal University, including Dean Qiao Hongfang, Vice Deans Wang Zixian and He Shengcai, and Assistant Dean Chen Jiamin, visited our College for research and exchange. Participants from College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics included Xue Liping, Division level Full-time Organization Officer at the College of Business, Yu Dianfan, Deputy Director of the Development Planning Office, Vice Dean Ding Haoyuan, Wu Yunzhen, Executive Director of the MIB Center, Gao Sida, Executive Director of the Master's and Doctoral Training Office, and Su Haihong, Deputy Executive Director of the Undergraduate Training Office. They engaged in a fruitful discussion during the visit.

At the meeting, Xue Liping, Division level Full-time Organization Officer of the College of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, warmly welcomed the delegation from Minnan Normal University. She provided a comprehensive introduction to the history, vision, mission, organizational structure, academic development, faculty, and internationalization efforts of the College.

Subsequently, COB Associate Dean Ding Haoyuan engaged in an in-depth discussion on topics related to undergraduate program development, master's program establishment, and the talent cultivation system within the college's educational work. He highlighted the College's current focus on creating an integrated "Bachelor-Master-Doctorate" continual educational philosophy, emphasizing the advantages of a streamlined student training and management model. He also provided detailed information about the specialized program for cultivating talent in international organizations.

Next, Yu Dianfan, Deputy Director of the Development Planning Office at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, engaged in a discussion on building distinctive top-tier finance disciplines in the digital age and the future development of finance-focused universities.

Qiao Hongfang, Dean of the College of Business at Minnan Normal University, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and provided a brief overview of the development, program construction, and talent cultivation efforts at Minnan Normal University's College of Business. Both sides exchanged insights on talent development programs, academic discipline construction, educational philosophies, and admissions practices.

Through this mutual communication and collaborative discussions, both institutions aim to take this visit as a starting point to further enhance interaction and collaboration, fostering long-term development for both Colleges.
