College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Secures National-Level Discipline Internationalization Platform Project, Driving Development Through Research Innovation

Recently, College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics has achieved another breakthrough in its application for national-level platform projects, successfully obtaining approval for a new national-level discipline internationalization platform project. This marks another significant milestone following the " Demonstration Initiative for the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions," underscoring the college's solid progress in discipline development and internationalization.

The project aligns closely with the latest international academic frontiers and national strategic needs, and focuses on interdisciplinary innovation in key areas, including intelligent decision-making under artificial intelligence (AI), business model innovation in the AI era, and economic regulation in the context of AI. The successful approval of this project is also a result of the close collaboration between the College of Business and the College of Statistics and Data Science. By leveraging their respective expertise, the two colleges have deeply integrated their strengths, fostering interdisciplinary innovation and demonstrating their advantages in academic research, technological application, and talent cultivation. Moving forward, both colleges will further promote interdisciplinary collaboration, using this new project as a catalyst to drive more breakthroughs in discipline development, the establishment of international research centers, and digital transformation. It is worth noting that the College of Business had previously secured approval for the "Internationalization Demonstration College Promotion Program," making it the only humanities and social sciences institution in China to be selected for such al platform project. After years of dedicated development, the "Internationalization Demonstration College" project has successfully completed its construction phase and continues to operate as a platform-based initiative, laying a solid foundation for the college's internationalization efforts.

The recent approval of the national-level disciplinary internationalization platform project further highlights the college's leading position in both discipline development and internationalization.
